5 Look Great Beauty Tips For The Time Starved Woman

I don’t know about you but on most mornings I have about 20 minutes to shower, dress and do my make-up. Throw in a small child interruption and it can be even less. That means my routine needs to be fine-tuned like a well-run machine!

Here are some look great tips you can incorporate to make the most of your morning beauty routine:

  • For an even, glowing complexion, try mixing a dab of tinted moisturizer (preferably with an SPF) with a bit of liquid foundation – it will give you sheer coverage without looking too made up. My favorites are Make Up For Ever HD Foundation and Sephora Collection Perfecting Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 Oil-Free. Finish with a touch of blush on your cheeks and you’ll look fully refreshed.

  • Make your eyes pop by using an eyelash curler and 2-3 coats of mascara – a sure way to look revived and ready for the day. I also really like using an eyebrow gel to quickly shape and darken my brows as well as keep them in place. My favorite by far is by Anastasia Beverly Hills. (And don’t forget to keep brows well groomed – this instantly gives your face a more “finished” look.)

  • No time to do your hair? No problem… either slick it back wet in a simple pony tail or bun (if you have long hair) or try a dry shampoo. Dry shampoos are a great way to refresh hair in between washes – they absorb oil, mask odor and pump up the volume. Try Klorane Gentle Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk Aerosol.

  • Whiten your teeth with an over-the-counter whitener for a bright smile. We all know smiling can transform your face and make you feel good – so do it more often! I thought the Crest 3D White Whitestrips were really easy to use (I wore them on the drive to work each morning) and I definitely noticed a difference.

  • Last, but not lease, drink lots of water! Beauty comes from within and keeping hydrated helps plum your skin and keep it healthy. Decaf green tea is another great option (AND it has the added anti-oxidant benefits).
